City trip to Antwerp: dresses and heels

Right, a new post! I wanted to write and publish this blog-post at the end of August.. but then the start of the school-year happened. Yes, very unexpected. 😛

Anyway, I did a lot of things this summer including a couple of trips just over the borders (i.e. Belgium). And you know me, even if a trip is for just a few days, I will pack at least three potential outfits for each day. We were very lucky that the raindrops only started on the last day so you'll see dresses and bare legs.

One important point: in these pics, you will only see high heels, but as you know I have grown older and perhaps a bit wiser! 😅 So, I did the sensible thing and wore flip-flops most of the time. And did bring more pairs of heels but I ended up using my trusty strappy heels the most!

This pink polkadot dress is quickly one of my favourite spring/summer/autumn dresses... it's flattering and it quite nicely hides a tummy after a big meal!

Yes, would you believe that I step out of the shower like this every morning? 😏

A couple of years ago, I had a similar striped dress like this, but I parted ways with it. I now got this dress and I think it is a decent substitute, don't you think?

 Autumn is here.. so lots of rain! Expect more boots and tights in the future posts! ♥

Hi all! I hope you had (or still are having) a great summer! :-O

Warm days are for polkadot dresses.. and I have so many! So yeah, I had to test out this flirty little summer dress!

Also.. I can't believe that next week, I have to go back to work again! Don't you wish these summers could last a bit longer?

How's everyone doing this weekend? It's March the 14th.. otherwise known (especially to geeks like me) as Pi-Day. :-D

I haven't had many opportunities for outdoor photo-shoot session yet, so here's another throwback to relatively better times.

You all know I love polkadots.. and one of these days, I will make a YouTube video that will showcase my 25+ dresses!

I think the challenge will be to choose the best pair of pumps, sandals or boots for each dress.. perhaps I might even do one or two dresses with sneakers or flip-flops?

As you can see, it was a beautiful summer's day, I actually just finished doing two other outfits first and this polkadot dress  would be my outfit for the rest of the afternoon and evening.

I try to be efficient! :-P

Because I was going to have dinner in Rotterdam, I chose to wrap up the look-book session on the Erasmus University campus.

Don't you just love college campuses? They are perfect for photo-shoots.. and the students are too busy to notice you anyway! :-P

It was a great day and with all the sun, I'm sure I got all my Vitamin D. How about you? Do you prefer the summer or the winter?

 Most countries seem to have their stuff in order, so let's hope for a great summer! ♥

Freezing my buns off in the French Alps wearing my red mini dress

Yay.. another snowboarding holiday that I survived without any injuries! Actually, because of all the snow that fell during the week.. I got to enjoy some rare epic snowboarding days in the powder under a blue sky.

Snowboarding fans know that there is pretty much no better feeling than snowboarding in fresh untouched powder snow! :-D

When we arrived at our destination in Chatel, it was raining a lot. And the wind was blowing so hard.. an actual storm!

So, I actually had no hopes that we would have great powder days and more importantly.. I also had no hopes of doing an outdoor photo-shoot in a ridiculous short dress!

Fortunately, after the rain and the snow, the sun came out for the last two days. So I got dolled up, asked my friend to take some pics in the freezing cold. Seriously.. even in the sun, it was like minus 2 degrees Celsius (like 28 degrees Fahrenheit). :-O

And before you ask... yes, this is yet another red polka-dot dress I own and never wore until now. This dress was like 10 euros on sale.. and I could not have left it in the store!!

I think this whole photo-shoot took about 30 minutes before my legs, feet and fingers were starting to feel numb. We did a quick video.. and I just ran inside, got changed into my swimming outfit and jumped into the jacuzzi!

I just hope the spring will come soon to the Netherlands.. so I can actually start doing my regular photo-shoots without feeling like popsicle! :-P

Yay.. the first post of 2020!! I hope these first 2 weeks are going well for you!

Again, it has been a while since my last post.. but yeah, Christmas, New Year's Eve, starting a new job. You know, the usual. :-P

I will definitely be talking about my new job and why I quit my previous higher-paying job! But for now,... POLKADOTS!!

Totally not feeling winter right now and I just find myself not wanting to go outside for photo and video shoots. Rain and me don't mix! :-P

Anyway, I did wear this dress like 3 times last summer and autumn. It's cute, it's sexy even though it end near my knees. And I will definitely be wearing this coming spring.

And yeah, what better way to end a warm summer's day with a milkshake at Burger King!
