City trip to Antwerp: dresses and heels

Right, a new post! I wanted to write and publish this blog-post at the end of August.. but then the start of the school-year happened. Yes, very unexpected. 😛

Anyway, I did a lot of things this summer including a couple of trips just over the borders (i.e. Belgium). And you know me, even if a trip is for just a few days, I will pack at least three potential outfits for each day. We were very lucky that the raindrops only started on the last day so you'll see dresses and bare legs.

One important point: in these pics, you will only see high heels, but as you know I have grown older and perhaps a bit wiser! 😅 So, I did the sensible thing and wore flip-flops most of the time. And did bring more pairs of heels but I ended up using my trusty strappy heels the most!

This pink polkadot dress is quickly one of my favourite spring/summer/autumn dresses... it's flattering and it quite nicely hides a tummy after a big meal!

Yes, would you believe that I step out of the shower like this every morning? 😏

A couple of years ago, I had a similar striped dress like this, but I parted ways with it. I now got this dress and I think it is a decent substitute, don't you think?

 Autumn is here.. so lots of rain! Expect more boots and tights in the future posts! ♥

Wearing leather during a heatwave

Nine months!! And no.. I wasn't pregnant during this break on the blog! 😛

For those who have been following my other social media, especially Facebook and Instagram and Patreon, you already know that my life has been extremely busy and hectic since basically last November. I intend to start posting these short blog-posts.. so I will explain what happened in my life in the next few posts. If anyone's actually interested.

So, what's the best thing to do during a heatwave? Drink plenty of water, stay in a pool, wear sunscreen and sunglasses. Or in my case, wear a full leather outfit! 😅

And when it gets too hot, just take off the leather jacket! 😉

October already! 😮 2021 is almost finished and I'm still trying to recover from 2020. Anyone else feel the same?

So, I actually did step out in September and the first few weeks of October, but I also went out doing touristy stuff in August when I was enjoying my summer holiday!

Even though it was wet and colder summer, there dry days.. and I visited a castle in the south of the Netherlands.

 I hope it's not too cold where you live! ♥

I didn't film inside the castle because it was quite crowded. So I hope you enjoy these outdoor video clips! 🙂

How's everyone doing this weekend? It's March the 14th.. otherwise known (especially to geeks like me) as Pi-Day. :-D

I haven't had many opportunities for outdoor photo-shoot session yet, so here's another throwback to relatively better times.

You all know I love polkadots.. and one of these days, I will make a YouTube video that will showcase my 25+ dresses!

I think the challenge will be to choose the best pair of pumps, sandals or boots for each dress.. perhaps I might even do one or two dresses with sneakers or flip-flops?

As you can see, it was a beautiful summer's day, I actually just finished doing two other outfits first and this polkadot dress  would be my outfit for the rest of the afternoon and evening.

I try to be efficient! :-P

Because I was going to have dinner in Rotterdam, I chose to wrap up the look-book session on the Erasmus University campus.

Don't you just love college campuses? They are perfect for photo-shoots.. and the students are too busy to notice you anyway! :-P

It was a great day and with all the sun, I'm sure I got all my Vitamin D. How about you? Do you prefer the summer or the winter?

Pretending it's summer: white dress with white stiletto heeled sandals

So we're already in our third week of 2021.. ooh boy! This wasn't really the start of the year that I was expecting! Over here in the Netherlands, our government has fallen and over in the US, some idiots tried taking over their government. :-O

I hope that for all of you who actually read this.. your year has gotten off to a better start.

Education activities have started as well.. and these first couple of weeks have been hectic!

I did have some glamorous moments these last few weeks, but I also think these winter months are good for cleaning out the hard-drive.

So, here is me dress in a white dress (one that is not suitable against red pasta sauce)! :-P

And pretty much the only reason I wore this dress that day, was because I wanted to wear these white stiletto heeled sandals! They were on sale from a 100 euros to only 29.. now that's a great deal, right?! :-D

One thing I will definitely be appreciating more in 2021 is the fact that will can hopefully go outside without worries!

 We not out of the woods yet, but the vaccines are here.. so hold on and stay positive! ♥

Hi y'all!! Well.. no two ways about it, infections are on the up and up. The only positive point is that hospitalisations are still stable. Though, I really wish people would behave more responsibly so that next year, we can all go live our lives like we used to do.

If you're reading this, I really hope you're doing okay! :-)

I think you may have noticed that in the precious few posts (here and on YouTube) my dresses have been on the blue-ish side. So it was time for a different colour (that wasn't black or red either).

What do you think of this green dress? Also, what do you think of my pose as if I were a real-estate agent selling this super large mansion? I would certainly buy this from someone like me! :-P

I also decided to wear another colour for my stiletto heeled sandals. I have these in blue, pink, white and black.. but because of my tan, I chose gold. I think it makes my legs look way longer! :-D

Here's a rare photo of my backside. Usually more prominent in my videos when I'm walking away.. but in photos, I'd like to show my face. Don't know if that's the best decision though! ;-)

Don't get me started on my hair.. I know I badly need a visit to the hair-salon. Or perhaps, cut it really short?

As a last part of my session, I thought I'd stand in the middle of a bicycle path and annoy scooters! ;-)

 So yeah, use common sense and stay safe and be healthy! ♥

Throwbacks during the crisis: leopard print with white stiletto heeled pumps

So, for our part of the world, the Netherlands and surrounding countries, it seems the lockdown measures will be softened. Hopefully, that means we can all go out and do more than just sit inside.

I do hope that we as society can still behave responsibly so that we continue going in the positive direction. And I know, in these current turbulent times, it's hard to not lose hope. I try to stay positive!! :-)

While I'm waiting for the possibility for me and my friends to go outside and do new photo-shoots, I still have some outdoor and indoor content on my PC.

Last summer, I wore this cute leopard print dress with my (now super favourite) white high heeled pumps from Lost Ink. If I can ever find a new pair from that brand, I will definitely buy them in more colours!

These heels are so comfortable and well-balanced, that doing a one-leg-stand pose was super easy.. so I included two photos of me doing that! ;-)

I have been fortunate during these months. I didn't get sick nor did my loved ones. I didn't lose my job like so many did. I could work from home so I didn't go completely crazy.

My heart goes out to all of you who are suffering. Whether from this pandemic or other crap that's currently setting this world on fire. I hope better times will come soon!

Is it too early to wish for 2021 to come already?! :-D

Hey all! For those who still read blogs during these times (or even during normal times).. I hope you're doing well and that you and your loved ones are healthy!

It's weird to keep on doing certain things while there are whole countries suffering so much more than the Netherlands. At the time of writing, we aren't in a lock-down situation. Perhaps that will change.. as the spread of this virus really depends on whether people behave responsibly and sensibly.

These weeks, I have been staying inside.. only to go out for groceries and work. All healthy employees at our institute are still allowed in the building, so while I'm still healthy.. I will definitely try to make myself useful.

But no outdoor photo and video shoots for the foreseeable future. Therefore, I'm digging through my archives for photos and videos.. and this outfit was one of the first I really wanted to post!

I really love how this dress makes me feel like a Spanish senorita.. and it made me wish that I was back on the Canary Islands. But sadly, this wasn't Gran Canarias, Lanzarote or Barcelona.. this was just Rotterdam. And it was very windy.. and without sun, it was actually quite chilly! :-O

So yeah, while I'm mostly in my PJs on the couch with my laptop.. I do like to close my eyes and just pretend that I'm outdoors.. doing photo and video shoots!

Anyway.. there a lot more important things in the world and I really hope that 2020 will also be the year of many good things, including the swift end of this crisis!

Yay.. the first post of 2020!! I hope these first 2 weeks are going well for you!

Again, it has been a while since my last post.. but yeah, Christmas, New Year's Eve, starting a new job. You know, the usual. :-P

I will definitely be talking about my new job and why I quit my previous higher-paying job! But for now,... POLKADOTS!!

Totally not feeling winter right now and I just find myself not wanting to go outside for photo and video shoots. Rain and me don't mix! :-P

Anyway, I did wear this dress like 3 times last summer and autumn. It's cute, it's sexy even though it end near my knees. And I will definitely be wearing this coming spring.

And yeah, what better way to end a warm summer's day with a milkshake at Burger King!

Wow, what a great few weeks these have been! I'm not exaggerating when I say how much happier I've been with these high temperatures. :-D

I know a lot of people really don't like the heat-wave (so perhaps they're happy with the rain today :-P), but those are the days when I want to get up early and get stuff done!

I'm sure you'll agree that these kind of temperatures ask for cute summer dresses and bare legs! Most of you know that, while I do like tights, stockings and leggings... I prefer to go bare-legged whenever I get the chance!

And while I could've gone for a completely red outfit.. I thought I'd use these off-white platform pumps that I've had for a while now.

What do you think.. are they out of style now? If yes, do you think they will ever come back? I'd hate to have to get rid of these cute heels!

As you can see in the two photos above, I really do love to challenge myself when I'm wearing heels. These balancing acts are something I wouldn't have dared before I started taking dancing lessons!

Hi girls and guys! It's been a hot minute since my last blog-post, but this time.. it wasn't laziness or general procrastination. :-P

From the last week of June through the first week of July, I was on a trip to Thailand. And after I came back.. I was practicing for my end-of-year dance performance which was one weekend ago! All great fun, but because of that... my online presence was really low!

Anyway, one week later.. and now we (in the Netherlands) are going through a historic heat-wave.. temperature records were broken today as we have seen temperatures above 40 °C! Which is totally crazy!!

One of the up-sides of this weather though... cute floral summer dresses.. yay!!

There's not much to say about this dress apart from the fact that I think it's super cute.. and perfect for this type of weather. Unless you are at the beach or swimming pool.. then a bikini or bathing suit will suffice!

As always, I wore heels.. I rarely do flip-flops even when it's so hot! These 5 inch black stiletto heels with a peep-toe and ankle strap are perfect!

So, what are you wearing during this European heat-have? And if you are in a cold region.. are you actually wearing something like a sweater dress and boots?! ;-)

 I hope you are not melting during this heat wave! ♥

Walking around in Rotterdam again.. you can clearly hear the ducks and my heels. Perhaps the ducks were admiring my heels! :-P
