I'm sure that if this cute summer dress had a pattern with berries on it, I would have gone with something like berrylicious! What? Is that not a real word? Ah well!

Anyway, red with a splash of green.. that's what this outfit is all about! The dress has been in my wardrobe for a couple of years, but I tend to only bring it out when the weather is nice. So here's to hoping that September will bring another couple of beautiful warm days!

I was visiting a park in Arnhem with my friend Sara. Obviously, it being so warm, it was quite refreshing to take off the heels and get my feet in the water and mud near this mini waterfall.

Just sitting here. :-P

Every now and then, one has got to take a rest from all the tiring and exhausting modelling! :-D

These days, I'm trying to be more sensible and wear sneakers or flip-flops when I'm just walking around looking for nice spots to take photos and videos. It's not that I can't wear heels for a full day.. but I would like my feet to function when I'm (hopefully) 60 years old!

So, check back in a couple of months if I will be wearing this dress again.. perhaps with another pair of red heels! ;-)

Wow, what a great few weeks these have been! I'm not exaggerating when I say how much happier I've been with these high temperatures. :-D

I know a lot of people really don't like the heat-wave (so perhaps they're happy with the rain today :-P), but those are the days when I want to get up early and get stuff done!

I'm sure you'll agree that these kind of temperatures ask for cute summer dresses and bare legs! Most of you know that, while I do like tights, stockings and leggings... I prefer to go bare-legged whenever I get the chance!

And while I could've gone for a completely red outfit.. I thought I'd use these off-white platform pumps that I've had for a while now.

What do you think.. are they out of style now? If yes, do you think they will ever come back? I'd hate to have to get rid of these cute heels!

As you can see in the two photos above, I really do love to challenge myself when I'm wearing heels. These balancing acts are something I wouldn't have dared before I started taking dancing lessons!

A blue floral dress in Rotterdam

Hi girls and guys! It's been a hot minute since my last blog-post, but this time.. it wasn't laziness or general procrastination. :-P

From the last week of June through the first week of July, I was on a trip to Thailand. And after I came back.. I was practicing for my end-of-year dance performance which was one weekend ago! All great fun, but because of that... my online presence was really low!

Anyway, one week later.. and now we (in the Netherlands) are going through a historic heat-wave.. temperature records were broken today as we have seen temperatures above 40 °C! Which is totally crazy!!

One of the up-sides of this weather though... cute floral summer dresses.. yay!!

There's not much to say about this dress apart from the fact that I think it's super cute.. and perfect for this type of weather. Unless you are at the beach or swimming pool.. then a bikini or bathing suit will suffice!

As always, I wore heels.. I rarely do flip-flops even when it's so hot! These 5 inch black stiletto heels with a peep-toe and ankle strap are perfect!

So, what are you wearing during this European heat-have? And if you are in a cold region.. are you actually wearing something like a sweater dress and boots?! ;-)

Walking around in Rotterdam again.. you can clearly hear the ducks and my heels. Perhaps the ducks were admiring my heels! :-P

Black leather with feminine pink

Ah, warm weather in the Netherlands.. it feels so good! Still though, it's never just warm in the Netherlands. Usually, it means 2 or 3 days of warm humid weather followed by showers and thunderstorms. And this week will not be any different! :-P

Anyway, it just means I'm continuously looking at the weather forecast! And then bugging friends to help me with the photo and video shoots. Sounds familiar? ;-)

So with weather like that, a lot of the times I just go for a leather jacket and boots. This way, I'm never too cold!!

I really love combining the super feminine aspects of pink dresses with the edginess of leather! Especially if the leather is black!

This way, we're getting the best of both worlds, right?

I think I've had these boots from Forever 21 for over 5 years now.. and they have never failed me!! ♥

I know red usually doesn't match well with pink.. but these flowers were so pretty!! :-D

Spring is for colourful dresses!

Yay!! It's the first of June.. and this weekend has already been so nice and warm. And tomorrow (Sunday), the prediction is that it's gonna be above 30!! I truly am so happy! :-D

This means I have been enjoying the sun, good food (already had a BBQ) and new photo and video shoots!

It also takes me back to the previous summer when I got to wear this gorgeous dress full of all the colours of the rainbow! :-P

And of course, I wouldn't be me if I didn't pair them with 5 inch heels. These strappy peep-toe heels are very comfy and I can walk all day in them which I did that day in Schiedam.

What are some of your favourite outfits for super hot summer days when the temperature goes beyond 30 degrees?

And I also wouldn't be me if did not try to do something stupid in heels! ;-)

Of course, I couldn't be doing all of this without the help of my friends!! :-D

Pink is not even my favourite colour

I've never ever flown while all dressed up.. all the hassle going through the checkpoints.. having to take off my heels.. having to explain everything to the security staff.

Anyway, back when the weather was sunny, we were driving past the airport of Rotterdam / The Hague.. and we decided to take the exit and snap a quick pic! It's all about the opportunities, right? ;-)

Anyone who knows me, knows that I'm all about the basic colours such as black, red and blue. And white if I manage to be careful with ice-cream and spaghetti sauce. :-P

So pink is not my favourite colour, but still really do like it. Especially when I want to do the cute look.

The other pics were taken in a park in the Hague dedicated to our first queen of the Netherlands called Emma. Technically, she was a steward because her husband king Willem the 3rd died and her daughter Wilhemina wasn't old enough to become queen.

It's a nice quiet park where people usually have their lunch walk and one can sit down.. giving the feet some rest and enjoy the flowers! :-)

Oh, here's me being very annoying for cars and bicycles standing in the middle of the street.. posing pretending to be a model. ;-)

White summer dress and pink stiletto heeled sandals

You all know that I love going out when the weather's nice.. especially if the forecast for the rest of the month is bad. I'm typing this just after the Dutch King's Day weekend.. and it's sooo cold and wet outside. And to think that just one week ago. I was walking around in a thin top and jeans shorts at 11 in the evening.

Like I've said before.. I can't wait for actual summer!! :-D

I really do love white dresses because they make your legs and arms look so tanned. My only challenge is to make sure that at the end of the day.. the dress is not messed up with red spaghetti sauce! And everyone seems to agree that pink and white is a cute combo, so I decided to wear my sexy pink sandals from Lost Ink.

Every now and then, my photographer manages to get a shot with me sticking my tongue out. Usually, I don't include them in blog-posts or on Instagram, but (just like last post) it's good to remind oneself not to take life too seriously.. so here!

These pics were taken in Eindhoven.. and for anyone who's been to that city.. these yellow pins are well-known. Have you been Eindhoven?

It's almost like one of those cheesy tourist photos they make in Pisa with the leaning tower.. but I think I've proven that one can be cheesy anywhere! :-P

Spring is for yellow dresses and red heels

I sometimes envy those of you who live in Southern Europe or California.. always sunny, always warm! Last weekend we had one beautiful day and now, it's back to cold, clouds and chill.

Anyway, enough moaning. You know what spring-time is good for? Pretty colours!! :-D

Y'all know I love polka-dot dresses and this yellow one with white dots is super pretty!

And I think that with yellow.. the best colour for the shoes is red. Perhaps green as well, but probably simply red. These pumps are my trusty Steve Madden pair that I purchased years ago. Still love them so much!

These photos were taken in Schiedam which is a beautiful little city near Rotterdam. Especially in spring!

So, there you have it.. another outfit that's actually more suited for a tropical island than for the cold Netherlands, but I just can't help myself!

And the above pic is just a friendly reminder (mostly for myself) that we all occasionally need to take life not so seriously.. and just stick your tongue out! :-P

Lotta black with a pinch of white

I wanted to upload this blog-post at the beginning of this week. But then, after last weekend,.. I got a severe cold and spent most of my time sleeping and sweating in bed.

Feeling better now (even though my throat is still very sore), so finishing up this post and the YouTube videos! And start working on my other social media stuff. ;-)

Here's me on a sunny day wearing my favourite colour: black!! But this time, with some white stripes. Short enough to feel sexy and classy enough for a cocktail party.. or at least, that's what I keep telling myself! :-P

And when one is wearing a black dress.. I like to keep it minimalistic, so I chose my shiny black peep-toe heels.

As you can see, my dance lessons really help! I can turn, twist and twirl in high heels without any problem now! :-D

So, what do you think about this dress.. something you'd wear at a party? Or even for work?

Again.. I can't wait until it's really warm because usually I don't get ill when it's warm!

Leopard print heels

I admit, this outfit is from a while ago, because the weather outside is nothing like the weather portrayed in these pics! :-P

This outfit falls in what I would call the business student category. When I was studying physics, none of the other female students dressed like this!

But if I go to the campus of the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, I see a lot of students dressed like this. Yes, even wearing shoes like these leopard print heels!

I'm sad to say that I don't have the blue jacket anymore, but still have this grey dress (in fact, I have quite a few).

And I rarely get rid of my heels, so yeah.. I still have these leopard print heels from Steve Maddden, so.. I'll be wearing a 2019 version of this outfit! :-D

Are there any shoes/dresses/accessories that you just cannot part ways with?

Anyway, back to current day.. where outside the rain is falling and the storm isn't stopping!

Cute polkadots with edgy leather

Okay, I said I wasn't going to count.. but just for the record, this is already the 4th post of the year! :-P

Last Friday, I had met up with a friend for day and evening of fun activities.. and because I had no idea how cold it would be.. I opted for boots with tights!

And to make the outfit a bit edgy, I combined the leather boots and jacket with a cute red dress with white polka-dots. What do you think of this combo of cute and edgy?

Now, one could think that I went to see Alita: Battle Angel.. but no, it was the movie we should have chosen to watch. Instead, we went to see a Dutch comedy that definitely made it into my list of worst movies ever!

Anyway, I didn't let that sour my mood and after the movie.. I walked away from the cinema with an attitude! ;-)

The rest of the day was spent shopping, eating and having a couple of drinks at a party for the LGBTQ community in Nijmegen. Great times were had by all, I can safely say! :-)

Also, can't wait to wear this same polka-dot dress with high-heeled sandals in a couple of months! :-D

OTK boots in Rotterdam

Third post!! Alright, I'll stop counting now until I either have slowed down again..  or when I am posting even more often than I do now.. though that seems highly unlikely! :-P

Cold temperatures are the best occasions for wearing boots. I realised I have so many pairs of boots that have never been captured on photo or video.. time to rectify that!

I usually wear my boots with jeans.. though I might as well have worn a dress or skirt, because I can tell you: ripped jeans don't really keep legs warm!

Last post, I was talking very favourably about Rotterdam and this post is not going to be very different.

There are so many people wearing so many different types of styles of clothing and shoes.. so someone wearing over-the-knee boots while shopping doesn't really draw that much attention. And I like being slightly low-key. ;-)

Second post of 2019! At this rate, I'll be posting 12 blog-post this year.. one each month. I hope I can surprise myself and at least make it double that number! :-P

It's already February.. and as always, it seems that time flies! But the good thing about that is that spring and summer will also be here soon!

And when it's warmer again, I can wear dresses like this super cute pink number!

This was another beautiful day while spending some time in the park in Rotterdam. A lot of people think that Rotterdam is cold cool city with high buildings.. and while it is full of that, it is also full of cute little parks with lakes.

Just don't talk to me about their local football club.. I'm from a different city originally, so that where my support will always be! ;-)

By the way, still loving these sandals.. they're 5 inch high, but super comfy. I bought multiple pairs.. I also use them for dancing class! ;-)
